Our lovely day trip to a waterfall!! 3.24.10
This was such a beautiful day!!! We were so so so blown away by how green this barren land became over the winter!!! Especially up at the water fall - we had to keep pinching ourselves to remember where we were...in IRAQ!!! Who'd've thunk? : )

What a fun excursion--what a neat area. Wonder if there are archeological sites in the area. What altitude were you at? It is a little bizarre to see the green in a desert country! Loved the charcoal face paint... Sterling looks intimidating in that one picture! :) Love to you all!
