Our second son was born to us at 12:26 am on Thursday the 12th! Everything went smoothly with his arrival once he finally decided to come! He was 13 days early according to the ultrasound and it seems that he was quite unsure whether or not he was actually ready to come when he did. I started having regular contractions on Tuesday night and they waxed and waned for about 26 1/2 hours before he actually made his appearance. Thankfully the pain didn't kick in until the last 4 1/2 hours.

He weighed in at a tiny 6 lb 12 oz!!! And is 20 1/2 inches long.
My mom was there for the birth...
...as was my sister, Jenna - such precious moments!!!
We were home by about 3 am and actually got a couple hours of sleep in before the night was completely over : )
It has been such a blessing to watch Sterling with Thorin!!! He gets such a kick out of him!

Hooray! Congratulations! He just looks so precious and you're right, so different. Is it more like you? I'm so glad I got to see Sterling recently and hopefully I'll get to meet Thorin before too long! Also, I LOVE the new picture you put up at the top of the blog. You all look so good!
